Hello, munchkins! Hope y'all talked to God Father today? Coz, ya know, "ma angels shut the devil up" in Momma Nicki's voice. Coming back from church, turned up the radio and "I AM A BIAFRAN.", came blasting through. Apparently, the dude was an Akwa Ibomite, and he kept insisting that " Akwa Ibom is Biafra." He continues ranting about how Akwa Ibomites should consider themselves as Biafrans and nothing less. I remember some weeks ago, one of my Ibibio friend was saying that "Akwa Ibom isn't Biafra." I've also heard different opinions on the issue, since Akwa Ibom is part of South and Niger Delta states. So, what do you guys think? Is Akwa Ibom, Biafra? Tbh, I've never been one to follow up news. I always felt that I shouldn't stress myself over things I had no control of. I was wrong. Nigerians in the country will relate to the feeling of fear sweeping like a tornado, over the country. Nowhere is safe, not even our houses. Some days ago, there was a threat to security in Oyigbo, Rivers state. The Biafran youths and the northerners were fighting. This resulted in death and casualties. Also, in most southern states like Abia, the strife got real with raids and killings. One source said: "someone would knock on the door to your house, and when you went to answer the door, you'd be gifted a shot in the head." According to this man, the Nigerian soldiers were going to random houses and shooting the inhabitants with guns. Another man said- "fear gripped my heart when I saw the fighter jets." Fighter jets? I haven't googled this yet to know if there were actually fighter jets involved, or ...

So, the ASUU strike has finally been called off. Should I be happy? ...or sad. You know, just two days ago, I was telling my friend -over the phone- that I was so tired of staying at home. I've been wishing and crying and hmuing for the strike to be called off. Now, it finally is, I donno if I should cry or smile😂 Okay, back to school, it is. I'm just super happy that I didn't have to make marriage preparations😂😂😂 lmfao. I was even planning to get a job!
